It amazes me how often you can still find people arguing or debating or wondering about ANYTHING at all anymore but you can ALL the time! Which is great because it may be a sign that some basic aspects of human interaction are innate and can not be replaced by some new innovation and I think that is a good thing. I will try and explain by saying that Google is an amazing thing. It is a too filled with so much knowledge, information and data it can assist you all day every day to do and help figure out anything you could ever want to know, understand or do! That said...it eliminates the need for people to sit around discussing how many cups in a gallon or how to open an online business or whatever you formerly could have ever wanted to know and that would have to be one of the few down sides to this innovation because, the human element is being taken out of more and more things and I think that is an element that should always be present and the fact that you still see people engaging in discussions or debates that could easily be validated or resolved by using Google...it is not used. We have to keep an eye on new things and remember to keep it in it's place. Read more

I can not say how much I do not like this company. Aside from causing me log-in issues and delays when using different software applications and constantly requiring updates and if that wasn't enough, even the email system that most computers seem to have installed as a regular thing is one of the worst I have ever used. Now, when I get a new computer I spend the first hour turning off and getting rid of any MS related stuff. Read more

This is one of those major disappointments in life, to me anyway. I am 56 years old and started getting mail from AARP since hitting 50 and after all these years I have found that AARP is ridiculous and not what I thought it was at all. It is basically a club you have to join and pay for that will allow you to take advantage of discounts at places like restaurants and pharmacy's and cruise ships etc. etc. These discounts are not much and really only ;amount to a few dollars her and there and you have to go out and eat and shop and vacation to use the benefits associated with membership and if you are not the type to do all that stuff or do not have the time because you work and lead a busy life...you will be paying for a membership that you may not even save enough to make up for what you spend for the membership and THAT...is just ridiculous. Love Wikipedia! If there is anything you want to now about anything or anyone you can find correct and up to date information from biographies to descriptions of cities and where Boston Cream Pie comes from and how it ever got invented! It is a fantastic resource that anyone can use, learn from and enjoy.

Here's the thing...like with Uber and Lyft and Postmates and all of these services that exist now it's great. It's great that you can sit at home drinking your favorite beverage and locally grown tobacco of choice and get anything from a car to a chili cheese dog delivered to your front door in an hour but, along with all that convenience comes a mountain of BS! The lack of ownership and customer care that comes along with these business's and service's is staggeringly the worst ever known! The pics and bio's are like looking at a photo of your favorite burger and then seeing the hot mess you end up with when you buy one...It's like anything else...before all this hype...we had to check things out and make calls, meet people and be sure about things when we buy or use something...same as now...nothing has changed...do your research and buyer's beware. This is a great app! I have been able to send and receive funds through family and friends with ease and that has been a great blessing to have on hand. Whether I am sending to family overseas or locally or buying something online you can always be sure the transaction happens fast and is secure!

I really enjoy Spotify...I can play my favorite tunes, save a library and it even finds similar music for me to listen to according to what i usually play which is very cool. The one thing about it that is not fun is how they just hammer and hammer you into buying a subscription and not using the free version anymore....now THAT is annoying.

I absolutely HATE this system. I have had to use it many times as it was the only system that was being used by some company I was working for and that was always a hassle either with logging in or operating. I have had to use it many times as it was the only system that was being used by some company I was working for and that was always a hassle either with logging in or operating. The thing that REALLY does my head in is how it is always the WORST part of using any PC that is Window's based. I am a diehard anti-Apple/Mac ANYTHING and just naturally prefer android, PC Window's based computers etc etc...but, with any situation you have Good & Bad, Pro's & Con's and with Window's one of it's real Con's is the Outlook system. Not to worry because, if using Chrome as a browser and taking advantage of all Google has to offer, you won't have to worry much about that at all. Read more

I understand we are going through a tough situation and that we are all doing the best we can but, the staff at Home Depot at ANY location have been subpar for a long time now and this pandemic has seemed to be even less helpful than usual! I don't know about you but, I'm not what I would call a "typical guy" and I mean that in a good way. I am not opposed to or against fixing things or making things in any way but, I'm just not as swift with a hammer or table saw as most guys so, when I am required to spend some time in a place like Home Depot, trying to at the very least get the right tools and supplies for the job so I can try and get it right...it's nice to have someone that knows what they are doing give you a hand but...that is more often than not what happens at Home Depot. I would suggest taking along someone you know that is a bit more familiar with the correct paint, tape, or plaster to handle that DIY job you have hanging over your head OR watch a few YouTube Video's to get better acquainted with the task that lay ahead lest you risk feeling like being in a hospital run by the patients. The pandemic is changing how things are done all over the world and with the entertainment world turning it's focus and attention completely on all forms of online content it is great to see YouTube join the ranks of Netflix and Hulu. More online networks means we get more programming which means we get more choices which isn't always the way things turn out for the consumer, point consumer. That said, although YouTube has been there for years now, giving us music and all sorts of entertainment as well as a platform for folks to reach people they could not have before and even become a way to earn a living for many...it is not practiced in the art of operating a network and there are still a few things about the original platform that should be addressed like, can we CALM DOWN with the ad's and the requests to become a paid member? You reach plenty of people to satisfy advertising dollars, no need to be greedy in my opinion. It will be a minute before they figure out what's up but, when they do, it should be as streamlined as Netflix or better. Read more

When it all began, it was possible to locate people like friends and family you hadn't seen or talked to in many years and that was and still is a great part of using Facebook. However, at the point Facebook gained as much power as it has, realizing how much data and information it possesses and how much revenue that can be gained selling advertising my Facebook has become more an onslaught of advertising campaigns and mindless posts designed to provoke dissention, adversity and gather yet more information about the users and if that weren't enough Facebook has become one of the worst violators of freedom of speech and regularly erase posts which views do not align with Facebooks "rules" and also freeze and or close a members account at will. This process makes sense to an extent as one should not have to witness things dealing with certain subject matter such as violence or sexual content and it i totally understandable that a company would follow procedures such as these in order to ensure it has distanced itself from said behavior and maintained the dignity of the company name however, this "social editing" and silencing can be on any topic and post from those of religous to political and I have noticed posts like those be edited, I have witnessed other posts I did not find should have been allowed.
