In addition to that, there are a plethora of brands sold on the site and that includes vintage... and perhaps your own clothing and accessories boutique if you tick all their boxes correctly. It is for men and women, primarily women like most everywhere else, and does really cater to a younger, slimmer crowd, although plus sizes in some things are available for both. From head to toe, inside and out. Clothing, lipstick, cool jockstraps, wigs, jewelry, and on it goes. You wouldn't think at first glance that it offers all that much but a deep dive will take you to an extensive list of products and brands, an array of additional boutiques, and more. You can also fine-tune to a specific country. Not everything is available everywhere and that's okay because there's plenty to choose from. If you tick The UK and then The United States, for example, on the same category, you'll likely see more in one country than the other, then switch to a different category and it's the other way around. That can get confusing but isn't really an issue. The models are gorgeous -- both men and women. Some of the poses they are in are a bit silly sometimes, but they always look great! There are even a few plus, not too-plus but plus, models scattered here and there, which is nice. What's even nicer about the humanity of ASOS is it is one of the most diverse sites as far as nationalities or races you can find and it's beautiful to see. The clothing, primarily what you'd be looking for, is pretty great, considering it's all so many brands including their own, It is rather massive, depending on what you look for, but the fine-tuning makes that really easy. I am an artist and nowhere near being a teen, or a millennial...or even a young adult at all, and I find stuff I love. Artsy, conservative, hipster, simple, cool, basic, it has all that and more. ANd some pretty great prices on accessories to go along with the clothing that's pretty affordable too, overall! It's not a pop-on-pop-off site at all, and that's the only thing that soem might get annoyed by. But I am very inquisitive, investigative, take my time on shopping ventures anywhere or anyhow, and am not the least bit bothered by that. It ticks all my boxes in an interesting way, is visually pleasing, and I am sure you could even find something for a cool grandma and granda with mod flair to wear. There is a lot and you'll need time to wade through ASOS but it is certainly worth it! Read more

I Wish I had better luck with my won sales on Wish.Com and Geek, however, the things I sell are more priced for normal retail as I cannot go any lower. But... do I shop on Wish? You bet! I have purchased perhaps a dozen items and they all came 100% exactly as described, listed, and shown. From glasses to jewelry supplies, clothing to tech, I have saved a huge amount of money. I'd wager to say that the total amount I have spent on Wish over time would add up to the price of just one of most of the products I bought, normally. So it's a win. I am very, very patient...to a fault, except in the drive-thru when you get to the window and THEN they tell you they, McDonald's have no shakes like I ordered! Well, they always have what I order at Wish and I don't get impatient about the time at all because I save. Do I like the wait? Nope! That's why I don't order more, but it isn't really a problem. I just forget about it and one day, voila! There's something in my mail and it's like Christmas! I am a touchy-feely kind of guy... in a good way, and I prefer to hold and examine 100% what I buy. I was in retail management for ages and know how the whole show works and usually got to see, feel, taste, and more the products carried. I have to say, shopping online with Wish is absolutely worth it, and the wait even if you just see photos and a sometimes odd description.. Many folks complain about the clothing and shoe sizes but never read the fine print...you size up. Or, it says sterling silver and BOOM, it's not! Or genuine diamond...and NOPE! Well, what kind of person buys a stunning pure gold, genuine diamond and ruby ring...for a dollar? And then complains that it's not real... yes, those folks. Be sure and use their coupons, play the points games, spin the wheel, and save! There's nothing you cannot find on Wish... unless it moves its real eyes. Happy shopping! And remember to hone in on the geek.wish side of it for a streamlined tech and such site, it's awesome! Read more

I am not a big spender there but do enjoy seeing what's popular and creating my own, new designs to sell on my POD with Amazon and other platforms. I am a graphic designer and artist and think most of the designs are simple but fun on the site and create things entirely different that I hope will do well seasonally or as evergreens. It has a lot of things to chose from, they have great accessories that I have and would buy more shorts if they were longer. But, I give it 5 stars because you really will find something to buy for yourself or someone else, with great ease and smile! Read more

IKEA has scads of them. You hungry? MMM, they have delicious things...except the lingonberry drink, which I find like a kid's watered-down juice box. Whether you're conservative or artsy, they will have what you need. And, what I really, REALLY love, is that you can get a couch frame from one section, the cushions from another, pillows entirely somewhere else a blank rug to paint yourself, make your own chandelier from things in different parts of the store on different levels... get the picture? I did just that and more in my place in LA, California and it was truly MY place. People came in and said, "Wow, this looks like a movie set people would love but never be able to have!" IKEA, cannot say enough great things. People complain about it being such a huge place. Huh, don't go there. Or, that you get lost. Huh, that's impossible. Or, there's always something missing. Huh, those must be the folks that wait till they get home from McDonald's to realize they shorted them a delicious, cheap burger. Or, that t's impossible to put things together. Huh, I have put at least 50 things together between my purchases and that of friends and never had any problems or missing pieces. Nope, not knocking anyone, just saying that there's nothing wrong with IKEA if you enjoy great, cool stuff, cool deals, a one-stop shopping experience, and more. I am a fan, it's quite easy to become one. And, though they have a neat catalog... shop in person if you can! Read more

I give them a 5 but that's if you go, order when things are clean and fresh and you have "talented sandwich artists", the dumbest title ever to come out of corporate America, and don't take it more than a couple of blocks away before eating. Because the bread deflates and turns into almost the same, simple breadstick it was when it was born. They have a good variety, you can have whatever any way you want it and everything is set up to be appealing for you! Unless the staff is lame. I managed one for a while, a very busy one in Kansas City, and when I took it over I had a lot of complaining to do about employee theft, uncleanliness, laziness, and more but soon got my crew right and we were tops in the region. Regions are pretty big, and they're everywhere. Subway is one of the top ten franchises on the planet, so that speaks volumes alone. It's because of what they sell...sandwiches quickly and to your liking and pickiness. And I am picky! They have wonderful bread that really has to be eaten soon after ordering, fantastic sauces, and a host of ingredients to please anyone from a picky kid to the unpleasant vegetarian or vegan who insists on a clean, new knife, a separate oven, and a tray to heat up their sandwich, and fresh greens from the back...yes, they eat there and the employees take good care of them, just a well as they treat the meat-eater deluxe with a need for gobs of pickles, more...no MORE pepper, more of this, more of that. Cookies, pretty boring. Chips, same thing. But we don't go there for chips and dessert, now do we? We go there for the footlong, as-I-want-it special sandwich that we're not afraid to create by stepping away from the menu. The price is not the best but we go there for the sandwich we want, although they do run some pretty good deals. Just find a pristinely clean location with perfectly fresh ingredients, staff with clean hands and fingernails, clean hair well up and netted or within state standards, and an attitude of friendliness...kids and a manager that don't hate their jobs...and Subway's a pretty darn good place! Just don't let that masterpiece sit too long... Read more

It was a bit more colorful then for mens' fashion but today they still maintain their sleek, stylish, simple-versatile garments as pieces I would wear if there were a Zara here. I am not the young man I was in Mexico City but would wear just about everything in the current season in 2021 any day of the year. Women have all the fun here with color and flare, which is always as stupid as stupid could be...thanks to closed-minded people without hope of progression, like humans are to do. But I think some of their old prints for men are fantastic, nevertheless. I am creative, open-minded, cultured, educated, have good taste and more and Zara fits that well. Should one of those traits be removed you would probably not find Zara your favorite. I wouldn't say things are made as well as one might expect but not much is anymore. My shirts usually ripped somewhere after a couple of years of wearing them religiously. Huh! So did my Calvin Kleins. Additionally, unless they have changed, it is unusual to find a lot for women above size XL and men above XL but some things can be found. A company doesn't have to cater to everyone on earth and perhaps Zara doesn't in respect to sizing but it's a company from Spain and they have their traditions. Fashion is fickle and as diverse as one could imagine nowadays. I cannot fault Zara for not having plus sizes just like I cannot fault Subway for not having 18", really thick and wide sourdough baguettes the way I like. I go where they do. And people go where they can find what they like and what fits them in every aspect. Zara leads no real trends, in my opinion. If you want a Hawaiian print shirt that's larger than what Zara carries, that's about as easy to find as a chocolate chip cookie and you go there instead! But if sizing and everything else is on target, Zara is great! So, 5 stars from a long-standing fan of the brand, all cards on the table. Read more

McDonald's, Schmuckdonald's, sometimes it is the latter. I give it 5 stars because their app is awesome, you get points galore if you eat there often enough, and the value menu is great. Great Dr. Pepper, superb French fries, really good-tasting Chicken McNuggets, tremendously yummy chocolate shake -- if they ever have them, and that's about it. I am from Kansas and a hamburger, any kind of fried chicken sandwich, all that stuff, is a particular thing to us. I don't live there anymore but you can't take the Kansas out of the boy! So, I am somewhat picky. I am also a chef. I have also had two great restaurants in the Mexican Caribbean or Riviera Maya. I do know food. I have also taught culinary courses. In two languages. So, food, yes, I do know something about it. McDonald's is exactly around the corner and I got the app because of that. heir spicey McChicken sandwich for just over a buck is filling and tasty, especially with $1. large fries -- only on the app, and a huge Dr. Pepper for $1. also. I usually get a cheap cheeseburger with extra pickles -- sometimes that means there are NO pickles. I also get pickles, a lot, please, on my cheap chicken sandwich. I got one the other day that was just pickles. No chicken anywhere in sight...just bread, lettuce, sauce, and 7.28 pickles. Yes, I did still enjoy it, they have great pickles! But I always get a shake, a large, chocolate -- only one I think is that good there, and it's a miracle if they have them. Most of the time they seem out and don't post it and you cannot easily get out of line at the drive-thru all the time and sometimes I want to because I came for the shake, the food is on the side! Loaded with kids that hate their jobs, forget your napkins or put them on the bottom of greasy food, have no ice so you only get 62.83% of your drink -- don't ask them to fill it up more, it's a big no-no. And managers that obviously don't know how to hire people that know they are dealing with people at all and believe they themselves are the Queens, usually I end up with women, or Kings of the town because they manage a McDonalds. Very, very important, indeed. Does it sound like I erroneously gave 5 stars? I did not. The experiences are better than they are poor, the food is cheap and you get what you pay for but get full! Unless you didn't get your shake! Then, well, it's off to somewhere else. Read more

Just like the clothing to wear with them! But, I have bought art supplies -- I am an artist. Kitchen supplies and foods -- I am a chef. Home decor -- I do that too. Weights and exercise things? No, I am not athletic but I have bought a lot. I could go on and on with bedding, furniture, luggage, tech accessories, jewelry, you name it. The trick is going often after their shipments and going to different stores all the time. If you do that, you will have great fun finding more than you wanted! But it is that which some folks don't like...having to go all the time to different locations. I suppose they don't need anything and don't want to save money. But I do! Read more

If your target is cool, slick finds at a great price all year -- especially at the holidays, any of them, then head on over to your local Target or go online and shop, they are both great. I, however, like going in the stores because the layouts are basically all the same and it's really easy to get from here to there inside their store unless you get into the maze. You KNOW what THAT is! Their products are usually a cut above big chain stores like Walmart but they will always have things that nobody else has, and that is in a totally great way. Do you want a red, feather Christmas tree? Of course! I got mine at Target. Their unique items is what you go for but every department is nice and, although it is smaller than other big department stores, to me, they pack a lot in beautifully. The grocery section is really small but the fresh foods, candy, wine, and bakery are all impressive for their size. They have terrific deals on good shoes, a super pharmacy with their own line of great products -- especially vitamins, and there's always something hot or cold to sit down and eat. That includes popcorn at many locations. But one of the best things about Target, any I have ever been to in many, many states, is the staff. They are so very helpful, friendly and take whatever time you need. That's my experience and for many folks I know. It is only a tad high in price that, say, Walmart for this and that, but when you are shopping at Target you know you get wonderful products, great prices, always unique things to see laid out in the most appealing ways, and a superb cast of employees. I have only bought from Target online once and it was a smooth, great experience. I will say their online presence is not as big as everyone else's I know of and most people I know do not shop Target online but that may be there is definitely a limitation but you will always find something and a reason to keep browsing. Shop at various places but be sure and shop at Target too! Read more

I have lived all over America and Mexico and have friends from all over the world, real friends, from living in so many places and they are my biggest support group. I also have a large family spread out all over America and into Canada and without the connections on Facebook to all of these people, I'd be lost. It is my photo album, my art gallery -- I am an artist, it is my journal. my storyboard, news, entertainment, a way to express myself and then not worry who sees anything or not because we all get lost in the shuffle equally and that's a blessing. I do my political bidding in other venues but am able to still be a part of them on Facebook. I can show all my friends what I do creatively as I not only paint, write, and more but I am also a graphic and digital artist and can self-promote myself freely and even make sales that way. What is there to not like about Facebook? Just as much as there is to love but it all depends on who you are and what you do, what you are made of, and what you make of life and how seriously you take yourself...and life. Facebook is simply part of life. Yes, many will never go on Facebook for whatever reasons they perceive as legitimate to themselves but, for example, I know many who keep physical photo albums, recipe cards, and diaries and journals...because they believe it's the only way to do them and more. But I am a digital guy and that saves time, space, paper, and much more..everything but actual personal interactions. I always want a hug and will never really get one on Facebook, no matter how many digital ones or textual ones I get. But I wouldn't trade it for the world, because Facebook...IS the world! It's home. It's family. It's the connection to almost everything important to me. I love cotton candy and cannot make it or eat it through their platform, so, there's that against Facebook. But I can post a video of cotton candy artists, my friends can share ones they find and share funny things about my obsession with cotton candy from the Netherlands to LA. So, I am on Facebook. You probably should be too. Read more

Zillow is a wonderful website for those looking to buy or rent their next castle -- always call your living space a castle no matter where it is, how big it is, or how much you pay for it. Want to move to upstate New York? Great! Seach that in the search, tick your options, and have at it. It's all there -- photos, price, aerial views, demographics, and more. Then you narrow down your searches and can contact the realtor or individual and go from there. Or, just pick a place somewhere having selected just homes for sale, and let your fantasy begin! Look at all the available homes in that area and look at the inside, the property, the neighbors -- no, let's not buy THAT one, they have a broken couch in the back, NEXT! -- and then zoom out to the next neighborhood, state, and so on. Dream. Dream big, and do it with Zillow! I always search for homes with a river or creek running through the property. I certainly cannot buy one at present but when I am ready, I know how I will find it...my dream home with some land, some water, an art studio, and all the things I want. And I will do it on Zillow, which beats all their competitors every time! Read more
