If you are considering listing your home with Allen Tate Realtors and are seeking someone to represent you then I would not suggest using Mrs. Jerri Banner. She had made every attempt, for us to get information~ difficult (to my buyer agent and myself). Since day one, when I found this lovely home. I needed more information and she was very bus... She had made every attempt, for us to get information~ difficult (to my buyer agent and myself). Since day one, when I found this lovely home. I needed more information and she was very busy, on vacation or could not get back to us in a fair time. Instead of getting someone to help us, she instead dragged out her responses. To the point that I went over her head (and my realtors since he had to wait for her response) and found the owner/builder. I was getting so annoyed with her un professional texts and snotty attitude. I should have just pursued another home. But, I felt that home showed potential. Her attitude was ~ you wait and too bad. Well, Ms. Banner it does not work that way in the world of buyers. You really are annoying Mrs. Banner. You really should not hold up a sale of a home because you are on vacation or busy with other clients for another listing. If I were the home owner, I would have fired you on the spot. That home had been on the market for a long time. Excessively long time. I feel sorry for that kind man/builder. It now makes sense why it was on the market so long. I would not suggest using Mrs. Banner to represent anyone's home (as a listing agent) that is eager to sell it. You are now seeing how the process can work against you. You want a hungry, eager and efficient listing agent (she is slow in responding to buyer’s agents). We are still waiting for our home. The closing date was pushed back, only days before closing Mrs. Banner is coming up with nonsense reasons on why the home is delayed. Mrs. Banner you don’t wait to 48 hours before closing to tell people that. There are expenses we will occur because of this “last minute notice.” I wished we could have fired you . No electric, water or heat , means not move in ready. Mrs. Banner has just given us a headache. The home sold because of my due diligence, research and meeting with the owner/builder. He was wonderful, helpful, cordial and so nice to work with. It is a shame that he had to pay her; when she almost killed the deal. Read more
